In our opinion, there is no substitute for watching roller derby, live and in living color! After all, it’s what we do! Our mission, as a nonprofit organization, is all about bringing people together, empowering skaters, transcending borders, and cultivating community. We can’t imagine life without it.
At the same time, our top priority is the health and safety of our audiences, skaters, and volunteers; as a full contact sport we must take additional precautions to protect everyone. Concerns about Covid-19 will likely affect our ability to bout, hold training camps and practice and we’ll be in touch with you regarding any changes or cancellations that arise.
In the meantime, we are working very closely with our partner venues to ensure an environment that is as safe as possible. We have been assured that venues are taking every measure and precaution possible to sanitize spaces by increasing the frequency of disinfecting floors, all surfaces, and restrooms throughout the day.
We request that all our patrons follow the same vigilance and take seriously the responsibility to stay home if you aren’t feeling well or are taking care of a sick family member. We have made ticket exchanges due to illness are free for the remainder of this season. Just contact us by emailing tickets@bostonderby.com
